Did you ever wonder why Christmas Day is on December 25th?

The reason is not because we know Jesus was born that day, but because December 25th coincides closely to the Winter Solstice.

In Rome, the government decided to place Christmas with all of the other Winter Solstice Parties to consolidate much of the Merry-Making and create a more civil society for the rest of the year.

Because of this, the holy day was never changed to any other day.

Jesus may have been born on December 25th, but it is highly unlikely.

Did you know that many people celebrate Christmas, but only in the sense that they teach their children about Santa Claus and presents and not about Jesus' birth?
